I was drawn to massage therapy by injuries (shoulder and hip), and to craniosacral therapy by relief from Temporomandibular Joint dysfunction (TMJ pain).
As a mom, I know first-hand the joys and demands motherhood brings, and I also understand a parent's concern for the health and well-being of their child. I enrolled into the Chicago School of Massage Therapy in 1996 and was certified in 1997. I became a Certified Infant Massage Instructor in 1998 and have taught over 150 families infant massage.
Continually seeking new ways to enhance the healing process, in 1998 I pursued education in craniosacral therapy through the Upledger Institute (CranioSacral Therapy I & II, SomatoEmotional Release I & II, CranioSacral Therapy for Pediatrics, and Mechanical Link I).
In 2003 I experienced my first Zero Balancing seminar and had the sense of "coming home" to the deepest level - bone and bone energy. In 2005 I
was Certified as a Practitioner in Zero Balancing through the Zero Balancing Association.
A treatment plan is based on listening to your needs and concerns, and incorporating the modalities which will best serve your goal to achieve optimum health.

Presentations can be on the benefits of infant massage for infants/children and parents, or various aspects of "Beneficial Bodywork" including Zero Balancing, stretching, self-care techniques, breathwork, etc.

is a hands-on system designed to align your energy body with your physical structure. Simple yet powerful, it focuses on your whole person, even when addressing specific needs. is the monitoring of the craniosacral rhythm to detect potential restrictions and imbalances. By using delicate manual techniques, problem areas are released to relieve undue pressure on the brain and spinal cord.

Parents learn the ancient art of infant massage. In addition to strokes for the legs, abdomen, chest, arms, hands, face, head and back, specific techniques are learned to relieve gas/colic/constipation and for relaxation. Parents learn to read baby's non-verbal cues to avoid over-stimulation thereby creating a more content, obedient and confident child.
