This website contains comprehensive information on my practice, specific therapies, and education programs to help you make informed decisions about you and your family's holistic/alternative health and healing needs.  Please feel free to contact me personally about any additional questions or concerns.   

My philosophy of care is to treat each person as I would want to be treated, with respect, confidentiality, and in the highest personal regard.

• Infant Massage Instruction - individual or group instruction for parents/grandparents on methods of infant massage.
• I offer presentations and demonstrations to private groups, community and senior organizations, and in corporate settings.  Presentations can be on the benefits of infant massage for infants/children and parents, or various aspects of "Beneficial Bodywork" including Zero Balancing, stretching, self-care techniques, breathwork, etc.

For  more than ten years Beneficial Bodywork has been a source for specialized bodywork and therapeutic massage for infants, children, adults and seniors in downtown Mount Prospect.

The desired outcome of a Zero Balancing session is to relieve physical and mental symptoms; improve the ability to deal with life stresses; to organize vibratory fields thereby promoting the sense of wholeness and well-being. To learn more about Zero Balancing...

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of the craniosacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.  Utilizing a soft touch, generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, there is release of restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. 

Craniosacral therapy and Zero Balancing are received fully clothed lying face up on a massage table. 

Therapeutic massage addresses specific areas of pain/discomfort and may utilize trigger point (neuromuscular/deep tissue) therapy, myofascial release, stretching, and circulatory strokes.  I am certified in pregnancy & post partum massage therapy.

All different approaches to the same goal - attaining a pain free, balanced, and relaxed session that continues into your everyday life.
